UFCW Local 1500 Welfare Fund v. Takeda Pharmaceuticals, U.S.A., Inc.
STATUS — Ongoing
PRACTICE — Antitrust
CASE — No. 26-cv-3122, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
In this antitrust class action, FKB represents indirect purchasers of Colcrys, a drug used to treat gout. The case alleges that the defendants—Takeda and Amneal—conspired with each other, as well as with other pharmaceutical manufacturers, to delay the entry of generic versions of Colcrys into the marketplace. The plaintiffs allege that class members paid significantly elevated prices for Colcrys because of the conspiracy.
