    FKB represented Temple University in a class action brought by students at the Fox School of Business. The case involved the reporting of college rankings data to U.S. News & World Report.

  • Appellate Success

    In June 2025, a unanimous panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit affirmed the district court’s award of attorneys’ fees in In re Wawa, Inc. Data Security Litigation, a data breach case.

REPRESENTATIVE CASES

In re Arcadium Lithium PLC, Shareholder Litigation

FKB represents the plaintiffs in this securities class action against a lithium mining company based in Argentina. The case alleges that, in connection with a 2024 merger, the defendants failed to disclose illegal mining practices that caused largescale environmental destruction.

Anaya v. Cencora

FKB’s Roberta Liebenberg currently serves as interim liaison counsel for the plaintiffs in this case alleging the theft of intimate personal and medical information from more than a million class members.

Smith v. Temple University

The firm represented Temple University in a high-profile class action lawsuit brought by students enrolled in the Fox School of Business and Management relating to the reporting of college rankings data to U.S. News & World Report.

Ryan v. Temple University

FKB represented Temple University in a class action brought by students relating to the transition to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring 2020 semester.

In re Wawa, Inc., Data Security Litigation

FKB serves as co-lead counsel for the consumer class in this case involving a 2019 data breach that exposed payment information for approximately 22 million Wawa customers. In June 2025, a unanimous panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit affirmed the district court’s award of attorneys’ fees.
