Rachel Sommer joined FKB after clerking for Judge Harry T. Edwards on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and for Judge Eduardo C. Robreno on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Sommer graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was an Executive Editor of the New York University Law Review and a Root-Tilden-Kern public interest scholar. She also served as a research assistant to Professors Deborah N. Archer, Cynthia Estlund, and Burt Neuborne.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Sommer worked in non-profit communications. She received her undergraduate degree in International Studies from Middlebury College and a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School.
